Arva partner of IF3 in Annecy

Avalanche safety is emphasized at the Annecy freeski film festival

While the International Film Festival of Freeskiing (IF3) will celebrate its 4th edition in Montreal from September 16 to 20, the organization decided to expand IF3 to Annecy,  France, from September 30 to October 3, 2010. After the X Games in Tignes, which were a real success, it appears that Europe is becoming more importantant in the eyes of Rican. With the two best riders at this time (Kevin Rolland and Xavier Bertoni), France is a leader of the European newschool!

The International Film Festival of freeskiing (IF3) offers premieres of the most anticipated films of the year, led by stars of freeskiing. Last year, French film to please, Mad in France, won the award for best editing. But alongside the blockbusters, "amateurs" can also submit their film for review. The Annecy edition should be of the same caliber, with a French flair! In September, you're in for a treat!

Arva will be a partner for safety training and will have a training session on avalanche safety. The program includes beacon search training,  situtation analysis, search competition, and open discussion with avalache safety professionals: rescuers, guides, and pro riders
